Now in its 9th year, the 2022 MDA Collective Wisdom Conference, will bring together pillars of industry to discuss and debate pertinent issues plaguing the Southern African construction industry, as well as showcase the future opportunities available for growth.
Chief Economist for the Minerals Council South Africa, Henk Langenhoven, will provide insight on the current and future mining landscape. Consultant and energy advisor to the Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Clyde Mallinson, will discuss developing a regional vision for the energy supply industry of the future, and how this will require a scaling up of local infrastructure construction capacity and capability. MDA Consulting associate, Keenan Perry, will outline the Contract Participation Goals (CPG) requirements in relation to infrastructure projects.
MDA directors will unpack the importance of Commercial Management for project success with specific reference to the above mentioned mining, energy and infrastructure sectors. Topics will cover risk management, contract management and dispute avoidance as critical components to Commercial Management.
